Q.What does International Women’s Day mean to you both as a mother-daughter team in business?
Sharon: It’s a day to celebrate women’s strength and achievements. As a mother-daughter team, it’s a reminder of how far women have come and how much we can achieve together.
Grace: It highlights the power of women supporting each other. For us, it’s about showing that women can succeed and build something meaningful together.
Q.What inspired you to start ToeZone, and how has being a female-led business shaped your journey?
Sharon: We wanted to create functional, fun footwear for kids. Being female-led has made us more determined to overcome challenges and succeed.
Grace: ToeZone was built with purpose and heart. Being female-led allows us to bring empathy and creativity to our decisions and make a real impact.
Q.What advice would you give to young girls who dream of becoming entrepreneurs?
Sharon: Believe in yourself, take risks and surround yourself with supportive people. Passion and resilience are key.
Grace: Start small, learn from mistakes and trust your instincts. Your ideas and voice matter.
Q.What achievement at ToeZone are you most proud of?
Sharon: I’m proud of establishing ToeZone as a trusted children’s brand and seeing our vision come to life.
Grace: I’m proud of building a brand with integrity and creating strong connections with our customers.
Q.Are there any women in your life that inspire you and have encouraged you throughout your life/career?
Sharon: My Mother inspired me to be fearless and now I’m inspired by Grace and the next generation of women.
Grace: My Mum is my biggest inspiration, along with all the incredible women entrepreneurs breaking barriers.
